Canadian Bacon is a 1995 comedy written, directed, and produced by Michael Moore, who is better known for his controversial documentaries. The cast includes John Candy, Alan Alda, Kevin Pollak, Rip Torn, Rhea Perlman and G.D. Spradlin. The film is thus far the only work of fiction directed by Moore (although his critics may say it's just the only one advertised as such) and was the last film role John Candy completed before his death. Ironically, much of the filming was done in Canada, thus sending American jobs across the border to save money.
The following weapons were used in the film Canadian Bacon:
Handguns
Colt Python
Sheriff Bud Boomer (John Candy) and his friend Roy Boy (Kevin J. O'Connor) carry Colt Pythons.
Colt Trooper Mk III
Honey (Rhea Perlman) is seen cleaning a Colt Trooper Mk III as the first anti-Canadian propaganda messages come on.
Glock 17
The sidearm of Omega Force appears to be the Glock 17
Submachine Guns
Daisy Softair Model 15 MP-5K
Omega Force carries what appears to be toy MP5Ks. These might be Daisy Softair Model 15 MP-5Ks.
Shotguns

Bud Boomer is armed with a Mossberg 500 when he is guarding the hydroelectric plant.
Winchester Model 1200

One of the weapons being auctioned off at the Hacker plant is a SPG-9 recoilless rifle. Once it's sold to Roy Boy, it morphs into a Stinger missile launcher.
FIM-92A Stinger

Other
M24 Chaffee light tank
