The Baytown Outlaws is a 2012 action movie set in the Southern United States which tells the story of the redneck Oodie brothers Brick (Clayne Crawford), Lincoln (Daniel Cudmore) and McQueen (Travis Fimmel) who spend their days serving as an unofficial mop-up team for county sheriff Millard (Andre Braugher).
They accept an assignment for Celeste (Eva Longoria), ex-wife to local mobster Carlos (Billy Bob Thornton), to rescue her godson Rob (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) from Carlos's hands and kill Carlos as well. Things do not go quite as planned and the Oodie brothers find themselves being chased by several gangs and the local authorities.
The following weapons were used in the film The Baytown Outlaws:
Handguns
SIG-Sauer P226
McQueen (Travis Fimmel) carries a nickel SIG-Sauer P226 as his side arm for most of the movie, usually dual-wielding it with a Glock 17.
Glock 17
McQueen’s second weapon of choice is a Glock 17, identifiable by the grip as 2nd generation, that he is usually seen dual-wielding with a SIG-Sauer P226. Several local law enforcement officers also carry the Glock 17.
Browning Hi-Power
Celeste (Eva Longoria) picks up a nickel plated Browning Hi-Power when thugs descend on the camp ground in the finale. She’s not seen using it though.
Beretta 92FS
Large Vatos (Luis Da Silva Jr.), a local drug dealer, answers the door with a Beretta 92FS in hand. ATF Agent Reese (Paul Wesley) also seems to carry one.
Taurus Model 689
Brick carries a 6” blued Taurus Model 689 revolver as his sidearm throughout the movie. He usually keeps it tucked inside his belt, not using any kind of holster.
Unidentified M1911 Variant
A thug carries an unidentified M1911 pistol series variant. The trigger guard and the match sight are reminiscent of a Safari Arms .45 or a Strayer Voigt Infinity but not enough details are visible for a good identification.
Submachine Guns
FN PS90 TR
One of the members of the Hood Pirates gang (uncredited actor) uses an FN PS90 TR to shoot at the Oodie brothers. Brick later picks up the weapon but does not use it.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
Pammy (Brea Grant) one of the prostitute assassins, tosses a Heckler & Koch MP5K into the sidecar of her motorcycle after the girls have finished their latest hit. She does not carry it in the confrontation with the Oodie Brothers, and it is never fired.
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
One of the members of the native American biker gang carries a Heckler & Koch MP5A2 with a Surefire 628 dedicated forend weaponlight, a picatinny-mounted aimpoint and a silencer. The stock is not visible, but since the gun is reloaded while running, and the left hand is not on the grip, it is assumed that the gun is carried by the fixed stock.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
In one shot, a Heckler & Koch MP5A3 with retracted stock can be seen on the table with the Oodie brothers’ arsenal. It is never picked up or used though.
IMI Uzi
Angel (Arden Cho) one of the prostitute assassins, tosses a full-sized Uzi into the sidecar of her motorcycle after the girls have finished their latest hit. She does not carry it in the confrontation with the Oodie Brothers, and it is never fired.
EKOL ASI Uzi
Another submachine gun seen in the Oodie brothers’ arsenal is the EKOL ASI Uzi. It is easily identified by the typical front section, the stubby front grip and the two small pieces of picatinny rails on top.
Rifles
M4A1 Carbine
A pair of dual-wielded M4A1 carbines are the weapons of choice for Lincoln (Daniel Cudmore), sometimes with the stocks removed. Several members of the Hood Pirates gang, including Montane (Damien Moses), Diggs (Keith Woulard) and Rondo (Tim J. Smith), are also seen using M4A1 carbines, as well as McQueen, who uses one during the final gun battle. Jez (Serinda Swan) also poses with the rifle on the theatrical release poster.
Mk. 18 Mod 0
One of the members of the native American biker gang carries what seems to be a Mk. 18 Mod 0 when he approaches the camp ground.
AKMS
Smoke (Quinn Early), a member of the Hood Pirates gang, uses an AKMS to fire at the Oodies care during the highway chase scene. This gun is later seen in the Oodie arsenal in the finale.
Marlin Model 995
During the final standoff at the campground, what appears to be a scoped Marlin Model 995 without a magazine can be seen in the Oodie brothers arsenal.
Unidentified M4A1 Carbine Variants
Two members of the native American biker gang use some kind of M4A1 carbine variants, but model/manufacturer cannot be identified.
Shotguns
Mossberg 590
Brick seems to have a personal preference for shotguns and for the better part of the movie, he carries a Mossberg 590 without heat shield but with ghost ring sights and extended tube.
Mossberg 500 Cruiser
In the final scene, McQueen uses a Mossberg 500 Cruiser, it is unclear where he got the weapon from. Pammy (Brea Grant) also poses with the Cruiser on the theatrical release poster.
Remington 870 Field Gun
At a gas station, the Oodie gang is held at gunpoint with a Remington 870 Field Gun by the clerk (Thomas Francis Murphy) who recognizes them as wanted fugitives from a television newscast.
Saiga 12K
Rose (Zoë Bell), one of the female assassins sent after the Oodies by drug lord Carlos, fires a Saiga 12K with a 20-round Wraithmaker drum magazine and short barrel without flash hider. Lincoln later takes the shotgun from her and uses it against the Hood Pirates gang. The Saiga 12K from this movie is the same one that Independent Studio Services (ISS) originally built for Gamer, and which was also used in The Expendables, Drive Angry, The Last Stand, etc.
Winchester Model 1200 Police
A Winchester Model 1200 Police is seen hanging on the wall at the Oodie’s house plus in their arsenal later on in the movie.
Short Barreled Side by Side Shotgun
For most of the movie, Brick uses a short barrelled side by side shotgun of unknown make that he keeps in a low-tech custom holster on his hip. Mona (Agnes Bruckner), one of the prostitute assassins, walks out of the mansion where the girls have finished their latest hit with the same shotgun over her shoulder, though it is never fired.
12 Gauge Side by Side Shotgun
Another shotgun carried, but not seen fired, by Brick is a 12 Gauge side by side shotgun of unknown make. He carries it around the Oodie farm but leaves it there when he and his brothers go on a mission.
Miscellaneous
Alternate Poster
An alternate poster, possibly used as a teaser before official release of the movie, with two Mossberg 500 series shotgun’s and several calibres of shells and cartridges to appropriately display the Confederate flag.
Brick’s shotgun holster
Brick keeps his short barrelled side by side shotgun in a low-tech ‘custom made’ holster that seems to consist of a piece of plastic pipe and some pieces of duct tape.
Rob’s shirt
The Oodie brothers present Rob with a t-shirt, the text of which is a tongue-in-cheek reference to both the current gun debate in the US, as well as the fact that the leading figures in this movie are in fact outlaws.
