Watchmen is the 2019 HBO original series adaptation of the DC Comic books series of the same name. Set 34 years after the events of the comic books, the series find the superheroes known as the Vigilantes trying to live their lives after being outlawed by the government. This series is not a sequel to the 2009 feature film adaptation, but rather is a sequel to the events of the comic book series. Watchmen, premiered on HBO in October of 2019. The executive producer is Lost veteran Damon Lindelof, who wrote/co-wrote several of the series' episodes.
