The Hound of the Baskervilles is a British 1978 comedy version of the famous novel by Arthur Conan Doyle, directed by Paul Morrissey and starring famous comedy duo Peter Cook and Dudley Moore (Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson respectively).
The following weapons were used in the film The Hound of the Baskervilles:
Webley .455 Mk VI
Dr. Watson's handgun is a Webley .455 Mk VI revolver with the barrel, cut down for about three or four inches of six original. The gun isn't a factory 4"-barreled version of Mk VI as it lacks the front sight.
Remington 1866 Derringer
Sherlock Holmes, eavesdropping at Stapleton's house, holds a Remington 1866 Derringer when he suddenly meets his mother Mrs. Ada Holmes (another role of Dudley Moore) and her companion Iris (Lucy Griffiths).
