Interesting that this character has a red dot on his sidearm but doesn't have one on his SCAR. :The SCAR was almost surely chosen because it’s a modern equivalent to the FNC used in Heat. I can imagine the director sitting down with the armorer and going, “I want Nick to have a rifle that’s kinda like what Al Pacino had in Heat, but newer and more 2018-appropriate.” And then the armorer said, “How about the SCAR? Also made by FN, but much newer.” They probably went with a black SCAR with no optic because that also ensures a greater visual semblance to the FNC. It is definitely weird to see, though - because while the jury is still out on the utility of optics on pistols, absolutely nobody runs only iron sights on rifles anymore. It’s possible that the armorer noted this oddity to the director, but he didn’t care. Remember that in movies, the visual appearance is what directors care about most. -MT2008 (talk) 14:01, 7 January 2023 (UTC) | |||

Not a P226
In having watched the film the CAA Tactical RONI is fired full auto. I have yet to hear of a Full auto SIG P226. it is most likely a Select fire Glock variant. Rockwolf66 (talk) 16:58, 24 November 2019 (EST)
