This is a loading gate revolver right? Something about it almost makes me want to think it's a break-top.

Yes, it's a solid frame design with a loading gate. Except for the double action trigger the drills are the same as the SAA. That said none of the parts are interchangable. - Nyles

I've heard it said that firing a revolver with a single-action trigger pull will be generally more accurate than a shot fired from a double-action trigger pull. Why is this? - User: 2wingo

It's because with double action, the trigger pull is longer, so you lose some of the steadiness in your aim when firing in double-action. Jeddostotle7 (talk) 23:14, 6 January 2013 (EST)
