Should this be named after the Government Program that started the initiative? Or should this be named after the manufacturer and model number? MoviePropMaster2008 14:54, 20 June 2012 (CDT)

The most specific name that I think you can come up with is "AAI LSAT Light Machine Gun", don't think there are any model numbers of military designations yet. --commando552 15:01, 20 June 2012 (CDT)

AR?

So according to this here page there's an assualt rifle that's part of the LSAT program. Now, using the power of the internet i tried to find a picture of it, but alas, my attempt was futile. Does anyone on this blessed wiki have access to a picture of this mysterious AR of the future?--AnActualAK47 (talk) 10:57, 10 November 2015 (EST)

The last image? And here. --Funkychinaman (talk) 11:00, 10 November 2015 (EST)
I believe this is the original "SN1" design, in 2011 there was the "SN2" prototype. This program was suspended in 2011, however in 2014 Textron were awarded a contract to develop a carbine version, along with a 7.62mm version of the LMG. --commando552 (talk) 12:34, 10 November 2015 (EST)
