Death Machine is a 1994 sci-fi/cyberpunk film that centers around a ragtag group trying to survive an attack from a "Frontline Morale Destroyer" killer robot. Apparently, the screenwriters had a bit of fun when they named the characters. The character "Dante" was purportedly named after famed director Joe Dante (Gremlins). The characters named "John Carpenter" and "Sam Raimi" are obvious homages. Calling a character "Scott Ridley" is akin to named someone "Hitchcock Alfred". Also there is a nod to Aliens as two of the characters are named Weyland and Yutani.
The following weapons were used in the film Death Machine:
Handguns
Bruni 1911A1
Hayden Cale (Ely Pouget) uses Jack Dante's own Colt 1911 to ward off the psychopathic genius. It is in fact an early Bruni model 8mm PAK blank firing replica. This was sold commercially all over the world. This was later improved and called the Bruni model 96.
Colt 1911A1
A police officer coming to investigate the activities at the corporate headquarters uses a Colt M1911A1 to shoot Hayden Cale before getting crushed by the Frontline Morale Destroyer.
Beretta 92
Jack Dante (Brad Dourif) threatens Haden Cale with what is supposed to be Beretta 92 with a stainless steel frame and blued slide. Like many of the weapons in the film this pistol is most likely an airgun that looks like a real Beretta.
Browning High Power Competition model
Yutani (Martin McDougall) takes a Browning High Power Competition model off of Dante by the Humanist intruders.
SIG-Sauer P226
A SIG-Sauer P226 is taken off of Dante by the Humanist intruders.
Desert Eagle .357 Magnum VII
Yutani (Martin McDougall) takes a Desert Eagle off of Jack Dante when the Humanist group captures Hayden Cale, John Carpenter and Jack Dante to get them to open the Companys' data core. John Carpenter somehow gets a hold of the Desert Eagle and uses it to force everyone to take the elevator to get out of the building. The muzzle in this scene is obviously that of a replica Desert Eagle. Inside the elevator the weapon changes to a .44 caliber Desert Eagle and he fires off several shots before being eaten by the Frontline Morale Destroyer.
Unknown revolver
Possible Colt Python waved around by police officer
Glock 17
Dante uses a Glock 17 to shoot Yutani in the shoulder when he kidnaps Hayden Cale.
Rifles
FAMAS assault rifle
Sam Raimi, Yutani and Weyland all carry blank-modified FAMAS Assault Rifles. As they are useless as weapons the group abandons them for real firepower in order to survive inside the corporate headquarters.
AKM
One of the weapons found in the covert lab is an AKM fitted with a prop body and an AK74 muzzlebrake. It is abandoned when it runs out of ammo while hosing down the Frontline Morale Destroyer when the remaining trio are trying to get to a hoist.
Smart Rifle
Yutani uses a fictional smartgun-type rifle.
Demo Charge
After being kidnapped by Jack Dante, Hayden Cale steals a bandoleer of demolition charges. The charges are powerful enough to blow the hand off the Frontline Morale Destroyer.
Exo Suit
A powered suit that augments the wearer and allows an ordinary human being to survive hand to hand combat with the Frontline Morale Destroyer.
Frontline Morale Destroyer
A remote controlled robotic killing machine. It has a mouth based on a great white shark and industrial sized claws on its' hands. While excellent at creating terror in unarmed foes, it has serious design flaws that could have been exploited.
