The Death Ray (Луч смерти; Luch smerti) is a Soviet 1925 B&W science fiction movie directed by Lev Kuleshov and Vsevolod Pudovkin. The Soviet inventor Podobed creates the "death ray", the powerful weapon capable of making explosions at distance. The invention is stolen by the agent of unnamed unfriendly state.
