IMI Galil ARM
The Galat ARM is a Assault rifle used by both the SFIA and Tura tribesmen. It's chambered for 7.62x39mm.

AA-12
Grenade Launchers
Beretta GLX-160 A1
The GLX is a Grenade Launcher used by CTRG Special Forces.
Attachments
Side Attachments
These mount on the right side of the weapon.
IR Pointer
The IR Laser Pointer gives the user a beam of light down the muzzle, giving off a NV-visible only laser that indicates the user's muzzle point. It's used by both BLUFOR and OPFOR.
Flashlight
The Flashlight is used as a low tech alternative to other night vision devices. It compromises one's visibility, though.
Optics
These mount atop the weapon, on the optic rail. If a weapon has folding iron sights, they will fold down, but not all do.
ACO (Advanced Colliminator Optic)
The ACO is one of the few attachments with two versions, one for BLUFOR, and one for OPFOR and INDFOR. It appears to be based on the C-More Railway reflex sight. With the release of the Marksmen DLC on the 8th of April, 2015, two more ACOs were added, zeroed for SMGs.
Holosight
The Holosight is an EOTech-like sight, used by all factions. It is based on the EOTech XPS3.
RCO (Rifle Combat Optic)
The RCO gives a 12x image, and has built in drop comp and a red dot sight mounted atop the optic. Used by the BLUFOR faction. It is based on the Leupold HAMR scope.
ARCO (Advanced Rifle Combat Optic)
Despite the Advanced moniker, these are very similar to the RCO, both having built in drop comp, dot sight and 12x zoom. Used by the OPFOR faction.
MRCO (Multi Range Combat Optic)
The MRCO is a simple, 10x optic, that can be toggled between non-zoomed, and zoomed view. It's used by the INDFOR AAF, and the BLUFOR FIA factions.
SOS (Sniper Optical Sight)
The SOS is used with the anti-materiel rifles. It has a variable 10 to 84x zoom, and can be adjusted to hit up to 2300m targets. It's shared by all factions.
NVS (Night Vision Sight)
The NVS is used by the BLUFOR and INDFOR factions, and is a 10x night vision sight.
TWS (Thermal Weapon Sight)
The TWS is a high tech thermal/day sight, and comes in two variants. One for standard weapons, with a zoom range of 10-23x and rangefinding, and one designed for machine guns, with a zoom range of 10-27x. The TWS MG does not have zeroing, but does have drop comp markers. Both variants are universal between the factions.
Nightstalker
The Nightstalkers is a high tech nightvision/thermal/day sight, with a zoom range of 5-25x, and a rangefinder. It has the unique feature of identifying targets, the display of the rifle lighting up as one aims at a target. It is exclusive to the OPFOR faction.
MRD
The MRD is a pistol mounted collimator sight, mounted exclusively on heavy pistols. It's used by BLUFOR, and is typically on their 4-five pistols.
Yorris J2
The Yorris J2 is a pistol mounted collimator sight, mounted on heavy pistols. It's a rough equivilent to the MRD, except for the OPFOR side.
DMS
The DMS is a marksman optic with 12x zoom. It's used by the OPFOR side, typically mounted on their Rahim rifles. It has a small RDS mounted on the top, as well.
AMS (*)
The AMS was added, along with the bevy of new weapons in the Marksmen DLC, on 8/4/15. It's a fairly standard sniper sight, apart from the RDS on the top of it. It seems to be tied to NATO soldiers but I'm not sure. It comes in Black, Tan and Green.
Kaliha (*)
The Kaliha is a CSAT opposite to the AMS, also released on 8/4/15. It doesn't have an RDS, unfortunately. It comes in Black, Hex Camo, Tan, and interestingly, Old variants.
ERCO (Enhanced Rifle Combat Optic (*)
The ERCO was added with the Apex expansion. It features a RDS, a 4x magnification, and mounts on most weapons.
Suppressors
These mount on the Muzzle slot of the weapon. No weapon needs to change ammo type if a suppressor is attached, though this may change post-Alpha.
6.5mm Suppressor
This is used by every 6.5mm weapon, namely assault rifles.
5.56mm Suppressor
This is used on 5.56mm weapons, like the TRG-21, and the Mk 20.
6.5mm LMG Suppressor
This is used exclusively by the Mk 200 machine gun, and the MX SW.
7.62mm Suppressor
Used by 7.62mm weapons, like the Mk 18, and the Zafir.
9mm Suppressor
These snap on 9mm weapons, like pistols and SMGs.
.45 Suppressor
Used by .45 weapons, like the ACP-C2, and the Vermin SMG.
.338 Suppressor (*)
Added with the Marksmen DLC, and attaches, predictably, to .338 weapons. It comes in Black, Green, and Sand.
9.3mm Suppressor (*)
Added with the Marksmen DLC, the 9.3mm suppressor attaches to weapons like the Cyrus. It comes in Black and Tan.
Bipods (*)
Bipods were added were added as part of the Marksmen update on 8/4/15 They mount on the bottom of the weapon, if the weapon can mount a bipod. Some can't, like carbines, but the CSAT main rifle can't, either. Also, if a weapon had a bipod pre-update, that was essentially useless on the gun, it was made useful! How nifty.
NATO Bipod
The NATO Bipod is found commonly, on NATO weapons.
CSAT Bipod
The CSAT Bipod is predictably on CSAT weapons.
AAF Bipod
The AAF Bipod is, surprise! Commonly found on AAF weapons.
Cut Weapons
As of the moment the following weapons have been removed from the game despite being fully functioning in earlier builds. The developers say that they might make their way back in post-release, "maybe".
Benelli M4 Super 90
The Benelli M4 Super 90 appears as the "M4 SASS" during the pre-release Alpha development builds.
Kel-Tec KSG
The Kel-Tec KSG is a cut weapon found in pre-release materials.
Heckler & Koch XM25
The H&K XM25 appeared in pre-release screenshots.
General Dynamics GAU-22/A
The F-35B Lightning II is a vehicle shown in pre-release materials. It most likely has the GD GAU-22/A as its main armament. The F-35B served as a placeholder for jets during development.
Discussion
F2000 Foregrip
The F2000's foregrip is a Monolith Arms Tri-Rail System. Since Monolith Arms got bought by Magpul, Magpul may start producing them. I don't know. But that's why the F2000 has the P90 style foregrip. http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j112/Halomfg/DSCN5779.jpg?t=1257801238 --1SAZ 03:35, 23 June 2011 (CDT)
- If they started producing them again I might actually take a look at buying an FS 2000. That Monolith Arms foregrip is just too badass. --AdAstra2009 22:17, 10 July 2012 (CDT)
Sniper rifle on the poster.
I put it down as a Barrett M99, but can't be absolutely certain that its not a Barrett M95 without seeing the magazine (of lack thereof), but the length of the forend makes me think M99. Can anyone who knows more about these confirm? Jimmoy 09:52, 23 June 2011 (CDT)
Well, the guys on BIS forums are guessing M95. Also, about that unknown gun, it kinda sorta could be the new Skorpion. The EVO one? Tanaj 18:20, 26 June 2011 (CDT)
- I think your very well right about the unknown gun being the CZ SCORPION EVO 3 A1, yep, it's defiantly it, way to go Tanaj! :) Mr. Wolf 21:51, 26 June 2011 (CDT)
- Well, to be honest I looked it up on their forum. But to my credit it was one of my guesses even before that. :) Tanaj 09:02, 1 July 2011 (CDT)
Machine gun - Caseless ammo?
Anyone else notice that the ammo appears to look like the LSAT's caseless round? (http://cdn1.thefirearmsblog.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/lsat_ammunition-tfb.jpg for reference) --Chrausis 09:50, 28 June 2011 (CDT)
- Difficult to say, might be just an early model, but I do remember seeing a screenshot from the E3 presentation with a reload/pickup prompt with some more exotic round. 6.8 I think, but I'm not sure. Tanaj 09:02, 1 July 2011 (CDT)
Any ideas?
on what the unknown rifle is? i've seen the stock somewhere but the straight mag throws me (Could be for 6.5/6.8mm rounds) http://i.imgur.com/wUNOD.jpg Source:http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=0tOSjYgGvHw#!
Looks to just be Bohemia's take on the Remington ACR, similar to their take on the KAC LMG. Stock seems to be a cross between the ACR adjustable stock and a Magpul UBR, receiver configuration looks to have the same profile. Same overall weapon profile, with some key differences (Like location of the charging handle, and rail system). But my money is that it was just based off of the ACR. Halorocka888 18:50, 1 June 2012 (CDT)
- Confirmed by a inside source, its in game name is the MX, its the NATO standard rifle and it fires the 6.5 Grendel. scarecrow 06:36, 7 June 2012 (CDT)
Is it just me or does the magazine look too small for 6.5mm Grendel? Or maybe the scaling is just off in that first screenshot. Also, it is odd they have made the magazine straight, as the 6.5mm Grendel roung has a taper so the mag would need to be curved just like a .223. --commando552 06:45, 7 June 2012 (CDT)
- That said, could it perhaps be chambered in some fictional caseless round? From what I understand (which is, granted, only stuff freely available online), the LSAT concept using a 5.56mm round isn't finalised and could be subject to change (assuming it ever sees the light of day). I suspect that this might be Bohemia's guess at what the LSAT rifle might look like. Just conjecture, but I thought it couldn't hurt to float the idea. Jimmoy 20:10, 4 July 2012 (CDT)
Glock 19
As noted as a PO7, it is most likely a place holder for the CZ PO7 Duty, thoughts? scarecrow 01:49, 10 July 2012 (CDT)
- It's probably just a fictionalized name. ArmA II used G17 for it, and it looks like a nearly photo identical model was used for ArmA III. Dannysaysnoo 18:19, 2 February 2013
- Something fun I noticed during a trawl through some Gamescon 2012 footage.
- Click on that and expand it. The "Glock" is chambered in 9x21mm. It seems to mention a weapon similar to the PP-2000 as well. Dannysaysnoo 21:49, 8 Febuary 2013
Alpha release on March 5th
The alpha release will be on March 5th. We've been promised 12 weapons. I'll try and find out which as soon as I can. Dannysaysnoo 22:48, 26 Febuary 2013

I couldn't properly identify the 1911 and the Titan, so I've left them up for others to identify.
How to Take Good Close-up Pics
In this case the game let's us skip having to position the player so we can get a good angle on a gun.
In the editor place any soldier. Then go to Empty -> Ammo and you will see a list of Ammo Crates you can place that contain any and every infantry weapon in the game. Click Preview to go ingame and then press Escape. Click the Camera button and the game will pause. You now have full control of the camera from position to depth of field to blur. You can zoom as close to any object as you want.Temp89 (talk) 12:57, 4 August 2013 (EDT)
- I'll keep that in mind. I'm going to to a total recall on all pictures when the game is on general release, and make new ones. I'm not happy with a lot of them. Mainly, I'm going to take pictures in more varied locations, with more varied soldiers. It always bugs me when it's obvious someone is farming screenshots. Dannysaysnoo 01:41, 4 August 2013 (GMT)
Final game inventory pics from official site
http://www.arma3.com/launch-countdown
Under the weapons section the page has been updated with all the inventory pics of every gun in every single configuration. STK CPW is the PDW2000.Temp89 (talk) 18:44, 27 August 2013 (EDT)
Seperation of Cut weapons and Final weapons
Very good, I wanted to do this at some point after release. I remained naive, asking for the KSG for ages. Dannysaysnoo (talk) 07:19, 28 August 2013 (EDT)
COMPLETE REFRESH OF PAGE FOR RELEASE VERSION
That's it. It took me about 7 hours straight, but I've replaced every blurry, grainy, useless image with a clean one from the release version. I've also added the Mk32 GMG, and added some text in some places. I'm real tired, and I need a nap. *Drops the mic* - Dannysaysnoo (talk) 00:54, 13 September 2013 (EDT)
How I Arranged The Page.
Part of my post-release screenshot fest was a severe rearranging of the order of firearms. I arranged them, by faction. NATO > CSAT > AAF > FIA. For the mounted weapons, I also arranged them by Mounted > Aircraft Mounted. Dannysaysnoo (talk) 19:33, 13 September 2013 (EDT)
Change the name of guns to their real life name
With most all of the guns in the game having fictional names, it's handy that a friend of mine produced a mod that changes names to something less silly. You can get it here. https://www.dropbox.com/s/2sere6rpapdwk21/@FA_warname.zip Dannysaysnoo (talk) 12:21, 10 January 2014 (EST)
New guns being added
The Marksmen DLC adds 7 new guns. Only artworks available so far. One has been IDed as the LWMMG. http://arma3.com/marksmen-challenge#.VPMudGdyY2g Temp89 (talk)
- The "Mk4 EMR" most definitely looks like a SIG SG-556 with features from the SG-556 DMR, and some sort of fictional .338 Magwell to me.
- --Sergeant Simpleton (talk) 11:59, 1 March 2015 (EST)
- The final two weapons are the H&K HK121 (as the "Navid") and the M-14.--Markit (talk) 17:36, 3 March 2015 (EST)
- According to the livestream, the MAR-10 is based on the Noreen Bad News rifle, the Mk4 EMR is based on the SG556 DMR (there is a large caliber variant called the 556xi but the look is quite different. Has practically no magwell to fit a banana mag), Mk14 is obvious, ASP-1 was a futirised VSS/VKS, the Cyrus is inspired by the Dragunov (don't really see it IMO), they didn't mention the LMG origins but they're rather obvious.Temp89 (talk)
- The Cyrus' ejection port and stock match the SVDS, but the rest of it looks ARish. The area above the model's hand on the ASP-1 looks like a SCAR receiver, too.AgentGumby (talk) 16:59, 7 March 2015 (EST)

SCAR-L
In multiplayer (and possibly singleplayer, haven't checked) the primary weapon slot when empty has an icon of a SCAR-L. Is that worth mentioning on the main page? Majorcamo (talk) 22:53, 5 June 2015 (EDT)
- I don't see why not. Maybe make a separate section for it or something. Dannysaysnoo (talk) 20:36, 6 June 2015 (EDT)
Battle Rifles
We currently have weapons such as the Mk.14 and M14 under the Sniper Rifle category. But we also have the RFB under the Assault Rifle category. Should we move the rifles such as the M14 to the Assault Rifle category and rename it "Assault Rifles and Battle Rifles." I just think it would make more sense as we combine the two on other pages and some the weapons under the Sniper Rifle category fire in full-auto. Majorcamo (talk) 22:00, 11 July 2015 (EDT)
Official P90 mod + RHS:Escalation
First off: Bohemia released the first ever official mod on the steam workshop in the form of the PS90, the P90 TR, and normal P90, under the name of "ADR-97". We should probably include this in the page. Second, a bit less likely to have a page is RHS: Escalation, which, if created, should have its own page. I ask for this page to be created because a) It includes pretty much every firearm currently used by the US and Russian forces, b) Bohemia themselves awarded it one of the top prizes in the mod competition, and c) It is one of the most popular and well-known mods in the ArmA series. I HIGHLY recommend making a page for this, as the quality of the weapons are some of the greatest I've ever seen in a game. --BlackHawk510 (talk) 13:44, 15 May 2016 (EDT)
- If it ain't official then it won't get an entry, i think.--AnActualAK47 (talk) 14:10, 15 May 2016 (EDT)
- Well Project Reality has it's own page, I don't see why RHS couldn't.AgentGumby (talk) 14:19, 15 May 2016 (EDT)
- Also, Firearms:Source, Forgotten hope, Insurgency, etc weren't official, but do have entries. Do note that I'm pretty sure that the Bohemia devs have played with RHS, or officially sponsored tournaments using it. Also, the rules dictate that a mod CAN have its own entry if it is very well known, which is certainly the case with RHS. --BlackHawk510 (talk) 15:08, 15 May 2016 (EDT)
- It's probably not unreasonable under those circumstances. So long as you're willing to put in the time and the page is done properly, I don't think the admins would have a problem with you making it. Sergeant Simpleton (talk) 20:30, 16 May 2016 (EDT)
- Thank you, I'll be sure to put a lot of effort into it when I have time.--BlackHawk510 (talk) 18:45, 17 May 2016 (EDT)

- Also, Firearms:Source, Forgotten hope, Insurgency, etc weren't official, but do have entries. - Well Project Reality has it's own page, I don't see why RHS couldn't.AgentGumby (talk) 14:19, 15 May 2016 (EDT)

- Pretty such the SPAR-16/17 is supposed to be an HK416, and HK417, given that the 416 appears on the official poster for APEX.--BlackHawk510 (talk) 17:24, 7 June 2016 (EDT)
Tanoa Artillery Ruins
On Tanoa, ruins of military installations from WWII can often be found, and they tend to feature broken artillery pieces as well. (they're also assets available in the Eden editor) Can somebody identify what artillery this is? --Wuzh (talk) 10:29, 8 September 2020 (EDT)
