The Italian Job is a 1969 heist film starring Michael Caine as Charlie Croker, a former criminal just released from prison who is asked to perform a heist that involves stealing a shipment of gold being transported through Turin, Italy. In the midst of the planning, Charlie must avoid being stopped by both the police and the Mafia. The Italian Job was subsequently remade as a 2003 feature film that starred Mark Wahlberg and Charlize Theron.
