For the war hero starts a difficult time and he loses all his possessions. With the cooperation of Democratic Senate candidate Pendergast, he gets to know the structures of power. Sponsored by Pendergast, Truman becomes a senator himself. And after the death of Roosevelt in 1945, he becomes President unexpectedly.
