Mob City Frank Darabont and focuses on the conflict between the mob and the LAPD that started in the late 1940s. The series was based on the novel L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America's Most Seductive City by John Buntin and premiered in the US on the TNT network on December 4, 2013.
