Family Happiness (Semeynoe schastye) is a 1969 Soviet comedy movie based on several short stories by Anton Chekhov. It depicts various tragicomical situations in life of several families in late 19th century Russia.
The following weapons were used in the film Family Happiness (Semeynoe schastye):
Handguns
Nagant M1895 Revolver
A bright, presumably nickel plated Nagant M1895 revolver is held by Ivan Shupaltsev (Nikolay Burlyaev) as he contemplates suicide. Another bright Nagant revolver (it must be the same movie prop) is seen in the gun store when Fyodor Sigayev (Andrey Mironov) decides to purchase a gun.
Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action
What appears to be a nickel plated Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action with pearl grips is seen in the gun shop (most likely not original S&W but a European, possibly Spanish clone). It seems be the same weapon that appears in other Mosfilm productions, like Shvedskaya spichka, Zemlya Sannikova and Zhestokiy romans.
Percussion Dueling Pistol
Percussion Dueling Pistols are seen in several scenes. This is apparently the same pistol, that will appear later in the Zhestokiy romans.
Smith & Wesson No.3 Russian Model
In the scene in gun store the clerk (Valentin Gaft) shows Sigayev (Andrey Mironov) two Smith & Wesson No.3 Russian Model revolvers.
Shotguns/Rifles
Sawed-off Izhmekh IZh-18 (Mocked up as Flintlock Pistol)
A flintlock pistol is seen in gun store. Its actually is a mocked-up sawed-off IZh-18 single-barrel shotgun with a fake flint lock.
Winchester Model 1895
About two dozen rifles that resemble Winchester Model 1895s are seen in the gun store.
Percussion cap musket M1845
Several Infantry Musket M1845s are seen in the scene in gun store.
Various Shotguns
Several hunting shotguns with exposed hammers are seen in the scene in gun store.
