{{DEFAULTSORT:Girl from the Legend (Devushka iz legendy), The}}
The Girl from the Legend (a direct translation of original title Devushka iz legendy) is a Soviet Uzbek 1980 made for TV two-part movie directed by Georgi Bzarov and Akmal Akbarkhodzhaev. It depicts the life of Uzbek girl Mayna Khasanova (Shoira Tursunbayeva) who becomes a revolutionary and then Red Army soldier during the Russian Civil war and was awarded by the Order of the Red Banner.
The following weapons were used in the film The Girl from the Legend (Devushka iz legendy):
Bolshevik Shakir Madyarov (Dzhavlon Khamrayev) uses a Nagant M1895 revolver during the attack on the train. Later a Nagant is seen in hands of an officer of Emirate of Bukhara army. Both pre- and post-1930 versions are seen.
Pistols
Mauser C96
A Mauser C96, mostly used with attached holster-stock, is a personal handgun of Mayna Khasanova (Shoira Tursunbayeva). She captured this gun from a Emirate of Bukhara high rank official Valikhan (Kuatbai Abdreimov). C96 pistols are also carried by several Red commanders.
Tokarev TT-33
A bright chrome plated TT-33, anachronistic for 1920s, is a personal handgun of Usmanbek (Mokhammed Rafikov), high rank commander of Bukharan army and Qurboshi (Basmachi chieftan) after the fall of Emirate.
Rifles and Muskets
Mosin Nagant M1891/30
Mosin Nagant M1891/30 rifles, standing for original M91s, are widely used by revolutionaries, Red Army and Emirate of Bukhara army soldiers.
Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbine
Anachronistic Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbines are also by revolutionaries, Red Army and Emirate of Bukhara army soldiers and Basmachi.
Mosin Nagant M1944 Carbine
Mosin Nagant M1944 Carbines are also seen in several scenes, often switching with M38 Carbines. They all have bayonets removed, so it is possibly to be a single prop, reused several times.
Enfield Pattern 14
Enfield Pattern 14 rifles are used by Mirad-Mirza's and Valikhan's henchmen, Bukharan soldiers and Basmachi.
Karabiner 98k
Bukharan soldiers and Basmachi also use anachronistic Karabiner 98k rifles.
Degtyaryov DP-27 (visually modified to resemble Lewis)
Degtyaryov DP-27 machine guns, visually modified to resemble Lewis, are used by Burharan soldiers and revolutionaries (probably a single prop is used).
Maxim M1910
A Maxim M1910 is used by revolutionaries during the battle for Kogon cotton factory.
Other Weapons
Dummy Training Grenade
During the battle for Kogon cotton factory one of the defenders uses a hand grenade that appears to be a dummy training stick grenade. It stands for RG-14 hand grenade.
Trivia
Holsters
Artillery
Field guns, used by Red Army, appear to be mockups, and pyrotechnical effects are used to imitate artillery fire. Same looking props are seen in several other films by Uzbekfilm.
