The Vayner Brothers (Russian: Братья Вайнеры, sometimes the name is spelled as Weiner), Arkady Aleksandrovich Vayner (1931-2005) and Georgy Aleksandrovich Vayner (1938-2009), were popular Soviet detective fiction writers. Many of their works were adapted for screen, among which the most famous is Mesto vstrechi izmenit nelzya 1979 mini series.

The recurring character of most Vayner Brothers novels is a detective of Moscow Ugolovny Rozysk (criminal police) Stanislav Pavlovich Tikhonov (in some screen adaptations this character is replaced with similar characters with different names).
