The Last Ten Days is a 1955 Austrian-German movie directed by Georg Wilhelm Pabst (Westfront 1918). The movie describes the last days of the war in Berlin, especially the situation in the Führerbunker. As a basis served the book Ten Days to Die by Michael A. Musmanno. Also in focus is the story of Captain Richard Wüst, who is sent by his superior to Hitler to enlighten him about the situation on the front. For several days, Wüst tries in vain to be admitted and develops an increasingly critical attitude to the conditions during that time.
