The Pindad SS2 (Senapan Serbu 2, "Assault Rifle 2") series is the first Indonesian-designed rifle family. They are based on the Pindad SS1 series, the Indonesian licensed FN FNC model, and are replacing them in service. There are multiple models for the SS2, known as SS2-V1 through V5 (except V3, which only exists in prototype form).
There is also the Pindad SS3 series, which is the 7.62 mm version of the SS2.
