Sylvester Stallone returns as Ray Breslin, the structural engineer and escape artist who has to infiltrate another impregnable prison to rescue his friend and former operative. The sequel was directed by Steven C. Miller and the cast includes Dave Bautista, Wes Chatham, and Titus Welliver. Stallone, Bautista, and 50 Cent would return for the 2019 sequel, Escape Plan: The Extractors.
