Boris Vasilyevich Shchukin (April 17 (Old Style April 5), 1894 - October 7, 1939) was a Soviet screen and stage actor, best known for the role of Vladimir Lenin in Lenin in October (Lenin v oktyabre) and Lenin in 1918 (Lenin v 1918 godu). In 1936 he was awarded the title of the People's Artist of the USSR. Moscow Theatre Institute is named after Shchukin.
