Virtual Warfighter, VWF for short, is a tactical multiplayer shooter for the OpenVR virtual reality platform. The game emphasis on realistic firearm operations. Using tracked controllers the players can manipulate objects such as racking the slide or release a locked back bolt. VWF is a physics driven game and most actions are driven by physics, this enables features like rail attachments that do not clip firearm or other attachment and that feel natural to operate. Moreover VWF is one of few games that have carefully mapped first person hands that closely tries to mimic how a real world operator would grip each individual object.

Like many other indie VR projects, many weapon assets in this game are sourced from asset stores, including the Ultimate FPS Weapons Pack by ChamferZone.
