The M240C appears as the coaxial armament of the M2A3 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle and M1A2 Abrams tank. Unlike in many live-action productions these are real military vehicles, something made possible by most of the production being shot at the Fort Hood base in Texas.

The M240D is seen as the loader's weapon on M1A2 Abrams tanks.

The M242 Bushmaster chaingun appears as the primary armament of the M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles.
