Hi, professional English style guides are not here telling you not to do things. Also stop instantly archiving your discussion page. [[User:Evil Tim|Evil Tim]] ([[User talk:Evil Tim|talk]]) 14:03, 17 February 2018 (EST)
I reverted some of them since I think 'USA' is a bit more proper of an abbreviation to list as a country of publication in the infobox. Just my take, though thinking on it I suppose it doesn't matter much either way.. I'm welcome to ask Tim or FCM or any of the other admins for input but regardless if you wanna revert those back, eh, feel free. You've done this again on the one X-Files page. You've also been doing it on other pages - If not removing the 'USA' then infinitesimally changing the flag image thumbnail size (and do tell what professional style guide says you must change a picture thumbnail 2 pixels in size?). Anyway, pretty sure I'm reading right here that you were told by one of those who administrates the site to stop doing that. Hi, professional English style guides are not here telling you not to do things. Also stop instantly archiving your discussion page. Evil Tim (talk) 14:03, 17 February 2018 (EST)

Well again the US/USA thing isn't a big deal for me either way - But that said I'm not one of the ones who decides how articles are formatted and arranged, so that's that. I agree the constant archival is a bit annoying though, especially when one wants to continue discussions - I'd say at least wait a week or two if you do it at all (which as shown by my talk page and especially Tim's insanely long talk page (:P), isn't absolutely necessary). StanTheMan (talk) 11:03, 18 February 2018 (EST)
Noted. If we're talking about the infobox, we should spell out the country's name rather than use abbreviations. Laqueesha (talk) 12:10, 18 February 2018 (EST)
Why should we do that? Evil Tim (talk) 12:39, 18 February 2018 (EST)
Looks more professional, less confusion, also we don't get debates like this over which abbreviation to use. Laqueesha (talk) 20:27, 20 February 2018 (EST)
Looks more professional to who? And confuse it for what, one of the other states called the USA that use the American flag? Evil Tim (talk) 21:19, 26 February 2018 (EST)
According to professional English style guides, as I said above. Laqueesha (talk) 22:57, 26 February 2018 (EST)
We don't care what those say. The Chicago Manual of Style is, in essence, documentation of a widely held set of opinions. It is not the law, and does not overrule site administration. Evil Tim (talk) 23:23, 26 February 2018 (EST)

StanTheMan (talk) 01:03, 17 June 2018 (EDT)
