Shadows Disappear at Noon (Teni ischezayut v polden)
Shadows Disappear at Noon (Teni ischezayut v polden) is a Soviet 1972 (filmed in 1970-71) seven-part mini series directed by Vladimir Krasnopolskiy and Valeriy Uskov and based on the same title novel by Anatoliy Ivanov. It depicts the life and fate of several generations of fellow villagers from the Siberian village of Zelyony Dol in 1916-1950s.
The following weapons were used in the film Shadows Disappear at Noon (Teni ischezayut v polden):
In Ep.1 a merchant Andrey Vasilyevich Zhukov (Pyotr Dolzhanov) owns a short-barreled version of Nagant M1895 revolver. Later this revolver is seen in hands of village miller Anisim Shatrov (Lev Polyakov), a rich peasant Filipp Menshikov (Sergey Polezhaev), and at last it is used by Zhukov's son Konstantin Zhukov (Sergey Yakovlev) who hides under false name Ustin Morozov (and appears in following episodes under the new name). This gun is anachronistic for 1916-1920 as it appeared only in 1927.
Standard Nagant revolver
During the events of Russian revolution and civil war (Ep.1) standard Nagant M1895 revolvers are used by Bolshevik Viktor Andreevitch (Viktor Shulgin), Red partisans Frol Kurganov (Valeri Gatayev) and Zakhar Bolshakov (Pyotr Velyaminov), and White officers.
What appears to be a Steyr M1912 is partially seen in holster, carried by Bolshevik Philemon Kolesnikov (Anatoliy Solovyov) in Ep.1.
Luger P08
In Ep.4, set during WW2, Ustin Morozov (Sergey Yakovlev) and Demid Menshikov (Roman Filippov) who turned collaborators, serving to Nazi Germany, use Luger P08 pistols.
In Ep.4 German soldiers, escorting Fyodor Morozov, are armed with Karabiner 98k rifles.
Shotguns
IZh-17
An anachronistic IZh-17 single barreled shotgun is used by Red partisans Antip Nikulin (Evgeniy Shutov) and Andron Ovchinnikov (Ivan Ryzhov) in Ep.1. Shotguns of early 20th century have roughly similar outlook.
