Long Road in the Dunes (original Latvian title Ilgais ceļš kāpās; original Russian title Dolgaya doroga v dyunakh) is a Soviet Latvian 1982 (filmed 1980—1981) historical mini series directed by Aloizs Brencs. The story is set in Latvia and covers the period from 1939 to 1970s. The main storyline is the love story of fisherman Arthur Banga (Juozas Kiselius) and Martha Ozols (Lilita Ozolina).

Vz.16/33 Czech Mauser

In Ep.1, set in 1939, Aizsargi (Latvian paramilitary organization in 1920s-1930s) Valdis (Voldemars Sorins), Bruno (Martins Verdins) and Zigis Aboltynsh (Roland Zagorskis) carry Vz.16/33 Czech Mauser carbines.
