The Other One (Original title: La otra) is 1946 Mexican crime drama thriller directed by Roberto Gavaldón with Dolores del Rio in in dual role of twins sisters - poor manicurist María Méndez and rich heiress Magdalena Montes de Oca. Maria decides to murder her sister and pretend to be she. The film inspired the movie Dead Ringer by Warner Bros. with Bette Davis.
