'''''The Sentence''''' (Also known as Verdict; Russian title Приговор, ''Prigovor'') is a 1994 Russian detective movie, based on the novel "Homicidal Lady" by Day Keene. In one of the US states, a major robbery of the bank was committed, as a result of which two guards were killed. In the murder is charged a Jim Conley, a bank employee. With irrefutable evidence, Attorney General Ted Talbot is pass a death sentence for Conley. But a day later one of the witnesses confesses to the murder, a little later was finded his corpse. Talbot's career comes to an end. His friend and assistant Leo Harman, realizing that Talbot cleverly was framed, begins an inconceivable intrigue investigation.
