Twelve Monkeys is a 1995 science fiction thriller directed by Terry Gilliam and starring Bruce Willis as James Cole, a convict living in a post-apocalyptic Earth devastated by a global pandemic. Cole is then selected to participate in a mission that involves traveling back in time to stop the virus from being released. The film's cast included Madeleine Stowe and Brad Pitt.
