Harry Brown is a 2009 British crime thriller starring Michael Caine as Harry Brown, an ex-Royal Marine who takes on a local street gang in order to avenge the murder of his friend.
The following weapons were used in the film Harry Brown (2009):
Browning Hi-Power
A Browning Hi-Power is used by two hooligans on a motorcycle at the beginning of the movie, when they gun down a woman in a park.
Walther P38
A Walther P38 is used by the drug dealer Stretch (Sean Harris). He shoots it once, and after that he smokes a crack rock from its barrel chamber. Harry Brown also picks it up, when Stretch is down.
Smith & Wesson Model 686
A Smith & Wesson Model 686 is used by the other dealer, Kenny (Joseph Gilgun), when Harry is buying guns from them.
SIG-Sauer P226R
Harry Brown (Michael Caine) acquires a SIG-Sauer P226R (among other weapons) from the drug dealer Stretch (Sean Harris) who incorrectly describes it as having a polymer frame. He uses it on several occasions, but it is lost after he dumps it in a river.
N.B. After a shootout involving Harry, D.I. Alice Frampton (Emily Mortimer) says to D.S. Terry Hickock (Charlie Creed-Miles) that she could smell cordite on Harry's jacket, while in the hospital. This is a goof, since cordite is obsolete and no longer produced (however, this is a forgivable mistake; while cordite production ended in the sixties, the term is still used generically in the UK for nitro powders).
Glock 17
A 9mm Glock 17 is among the weapons Harry Brown (Michael Caine) acquires from Stretch. Also used by Sid Rourke (Liam Cunningham) near the end. It has a stainless slide. The other drug dealer, Kenneth, comments on it: "Easy to load, easy to shoot. Weapon of choice for every f***ing pig force around the world is that."
Smith & Wesson Model 36
Harry's third and final piece acquired from Stretch the drug dealer, is a snub-nosed Smith & Wesson Model 36. He carries it in an ankle holster and uses it in the end. Kenneth, the other drug dealer, comments on the Model 36: "That's a beautiful little gun and a proper little stopper."
M1911A1
A stainless M1911 variant is used by Noel (Ben 'Plan B' Drew).
"Pre-B" CZ 75
Carl (Jamie Downey) uses a "Pre-B" CZ 75.
Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife
The Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife is a double-edged knife with a foil grip developed by William Ewart Fairbairn and Eric Anthony Sykes in Shanghai before World War II, but made famous during the War when issued to British Commandos and the SAS.
