The Cat (Die Katze) is a 1988 German crime thriller directed by Dominik Graf. Seasoned criminal Probek (Götz George) organises a bank heist, sending two of his accomplices in the bank and directing them from outside. The wife of the bank chief manager is also involved in the plan but she has a hidden agenda all her own.
The following weapons were used in the film The Cat (Die Katze):
Revolvers
Ruger Speed Six
Britz (Ralf Richter) uses the Ruger Speed Six during the heist.
Smith & Wesson Model 586
Junghein (Heinz Hoenig) uses the Smith & Wesson Model 586 during the heist.
Pistols
CZ 75 "Pre-B"
Probek's (Götz George) handgun is the custom two-tone CZ 75 "Pre-B" pistol. It looks like two different props are seen, with different combination of two-tone and ajustable sights on the second prop.
Browning BDA
In the final scene, Probek's (Götz George) CZ 75 switches to a two-tone Browning BDA due to a continuity error.
Umarex GPDA
Commissioneer Voss (Joachim Kemmer) carries Umarex GPDA, blank firing version of Browning BDA.
SIG-Sauer P225
Police officers are armed with SIG-Sauer P225 pistols, standing for P6s, issued for German police.
Submachine Guns
Uzi
Another Probek's (Götz George) gun is customised Uzi (probably based on Uzi Carbine) with sniper scope.
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
Most officers of special unit carry Heckler & Koch MP5A2 SMGs.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500 Cruiser
Police also use Mossberg 500 Cruiser shotguns.
Rifles
Heckler & Koch G3SG/1
Police snipers are armed with Heckler & Koch G3SG/1 sniper rifles.
