The Perfect Weapon is a 1991 martial arts action film directed by Mark DiSalle and was intended to introduce martial arts expert Jeff Speakman to the moviegoing audience. The cast includes John Dye, Professor Toru Tanaka, Mako Iwamatsu, James Hong, and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa. Set in Los Angeles, the film stars Speakman as Jeff Sanders, an ordinary construction worker who also is trained in the martial art of American Kenpo, and finds himself in a fight against the Korean mafia.
