::I thought I saw a couple of Lebels too but wasn't 100% sure. Don't know what nationality the soldiers holding them were (I think there was more than just one) but they had the French style helmet. Additionally, I think that I saw some anachronistic M1 Garands in the closing credits (they are only in silhouette, but the gas tube and rear mounted sight give it away).  --[[User:Commando552|commando552]] ([[User talk:Commando552|talk]]) 08:32, 14 June 2017 (EDT)

I think it is a Reichsrevolver M1883. --commando552 (talk) 20:39, 13 December 2016 (EST)

Geballte Ladung

in one of the scenes Chief (Eugene Brave Rock) throws a Model 24 "Geballte Ladung" ("Bundled Charge") for once hollywood does get it right --Seekerdude (talk) 14:34, 6 June 2017 (EDT)

Not Model 24s and not a GL. Just three whole grenades tied together.--Mandolin (talk) 14:53, 6 June 2017 (EDT)
It was actually, interestingly enough, 3 grenades and an axe, the latter of which serving to stick the bundle into a wooden wall. Throwing something like that accurately would take some impressive skills. Pyr0m4n14c (talk) 21:20, 13 June 2017 (EDT)

Lebel?

I am not certain, but I think in the Trench scene there was a French soldier with a lebel rifle. What 1 french soldier was doing in a British Trench, who knows? --Insertjjs (talk) 21:37, 13 June 2017 (EDT)

I remembered reading somewhere on reddit that there were Belgian soldiers present in the trenches alongside the British. Could be them wearing French equipment, like they did during the actual war? -- SSgt LuLZ 19:00, 14 June 2017 (GMT)
I thought I saw a couple of Lebels too but wasn't 100% sure. Don't know what nationality the soldiers holding them were (I think there was more than just one) but they had the French style helmet. Additionally, I think that I saw some anachronistic M1 Garands in the closing credits (they are only in silhouette, but the gas tube and rear mounted sight give it away). --commando552 (talk) 08:32, 14 June 2017 (EDT)
Yeah, I saw the Lebels as well. --Mandolin (talk) 19:26, 14 June 2017 (EDT)

Charlie's Enfield

How are we sure it's an M1917 and not a Pattern 14 or other British variant? Spartan198 (talk) 05:43, 11 August 2017 (EDT)

The grasping groove on the stock is longer on the M1917 and matches the movie gun. This can be seen more clearly if you look up the group photo or look at the screencap on the BVS page. --commando552 (talk) 07:35, 11 August 2017 (EDT)
