Since 60 years, began to promote in the film and often played soldiers and policemen and other action heroes. Examples include 1st Lt. Král, the commander of paratroopers in Atentát (1964), Cpt Sabatka in Maratón (1968) or Foreign Legion officer jan Navara in Oasis (1973). Many different roles he played on television screen, especially the character spy Pavel Bláha in TV serie 30 Cases of Major Zeman.
