Be Cool is the 2005 sequel to the 1995 hit film Get Shorty. Directed by F. Gary Gray, the sequel is based on a novel by Elmore Leonard, as was the 1995 film. Both John Travolta and Danny DeVito return for the sequel, which co-stars Uma Thurman, Harvey Keitel, Cedric the Entertainer, Dwayne Johnson, and Vince Vaughn.
The following weapons were used in the film Be Cool:
Colt M1911A1
Several characters carry 1911s in the film. Russian mobster Roman Bulkin (Alex Kubik) carries one as his sidearm throughout the film. His 1911 has been customized with a huge compensator.
Several members of the rap group "DUB MD's", including Sin LaSalle's (Cedric the Entertainer) right hand man Badu (André Benjamin), also carry 'pimped out'1911s, which have been nickel plated. Most of them have pearl grips too.
Later Raji (Vince Vaughn) takes an original Colt 1911 from the hitman Joe Loop (Robert Pastorelli).
Raji's (Vince Vaughn) bodyguard, Elliot Wilhelm (Dwayne Johnson), also carries a customized 1911, and briefly uses it during the climax.
Smith & Wesson Model 629 "Performance Center"
Sin LaSalle (Cedric the Entertainer) keeps a Smith & Wesson Model 629 "Performance Center" revolver as his sidearm throughout the movie. The gun has been heavily customized with jewelry.
Heckler & Koch VP70
One of the Russian mobsters working for Roman Bulkin uses a Heckler & Koch VP70 during a confrontation with Sin LaSalle (Cedric the Entertainer) and Nick Carr (Harvey Keitel).
Walther P99
A Russian assassin uses a Walther P99 in Chili Palmer's (John Travolta) apartment.
Beretta 92FS (nickel plated)
A rapper/gangsta who's a part of the rap group "DUB MD's" carries a nickel plated Beretta 92FS. It has also been customized with pearl grips.
Jericho 941 R
One of the rapper-gangsters from "DUB MD's" carries a Jericho 941 R as his sidearm.
SIG-Sauer P226
Another member of "DUB MD's" carries a shiny, nickel plated SIG-Sauer P226 as his sidearm.
A couple of the Russian mobsters working for Roman Bulkin carry factory black P226's as their sidearms. They most notably use them in the Russian pawn shop.
Heckler & Koch USP Tactical
A Russian mobster uses a Heckler & Koch USP Tactical during the confrontation between LaSalle, Carr, and Bulkin.
Beretta Cougar
Marla (Debi Mazar) keeps a Beretta Cougar as her sidearm. She briefly pulls it near the end of the film.
Smith & Wesson 4566

- There is a GE M134 Minigun in front of Badu.
- The assault rifles that the gangstas on the left are holding, are Heckler & Koch G36Cs.
