The following weapons were used in Season 2 of the television series Fortitude:
Pistols
Glock 17
Members of the Norwegian Police Service stationed in Fortitude continue to carry the Glock 17 as their service firearm. Sheriff Eric Odegard (Björn Hlynur Haraldsson), Officer Petra Bergen (Alexandra Moen) and Officer Ingrid Witry (Mia Jexen) are seen carrying them throughout. Dan Anderssen (Richard Dormer), the former Sheriff, also briefly uses one.
Note: Ordinary Norwegian police officers are usually not armed, but they have weapons in their patrol cars. The standard issue pistol for the Norwegian policemen is the Heckler & Koch P30, while the special unit has access to Glocks. It can be assumed the reason the officers permanently carry their guns is due to the laws in Fortitude stating all citizens must be armed (in case of polar bear attacks).
SIG-Sauer P226
Tomak Bowzyk (Gershwyn Eustache Jr.), a mercenary working for Schenthal Biotech, is seen assembling and chambering a SIG-Sauer P226 with a threaded barrel.
Heckler & Koch USP
Schenthal Biotech mercenaries Devlin (Paul Ready), Spindoe (Lorraine Burroughs) and Hogg (Joel Morris), carry Heckler & Koch USPs as their primary sidearms.
Heckler & Koch P2A1 Flare Pistol
Dan Anderssen (Richard Dormer) briefly uses a Heckler & Koch P2A1 Flare Pistol with an orange finish to threaten Dr. Sarinda Khatri (Parminder Nagra) and obtain her access pass to the Fortitude Arctic Research Centre (FARC). Dr. Sarinda Khatri (Parminder Nagra) later uses it to kill Spindoe (Lorraine Burroughs) and herself by firing it inside a Schenthal Biotech helicopter.
X26 Taser
Spindoe (Lorraine Burroughs) and Hogg (Joel Morris), mercenaries hired by Schenthal Biotech, arm themselves with X26 Taser's as a non lethal means to extract Dan Anderssen (Richard Dormer).
Crosman 2240 CO2 Pistol (Modified)
Schenthal Biotech mercenaries Devlin (Paul Ready), Spindoe (Lorraine Burroughs) and Hogg (Joel Morris), also carry modified Crosman 2240 CO2 Pistol's loaded with Fentanyl tipped darts in their mission to extract Dan Anderssen (Richard Dormer).
