Scarred City (also released as Scar City) is a 1998 action thriller directed by Ken Sanzel and starring Stephen Baldwin as John Trace, a gun-happy police officer who is drafted into a special unit, known as SCAR, that acts in death squad style, killing criminals rather than arresting them. Soon Trace feels himself in tensions with other members of SCAR, including his boss Lt. Laine Devon (Chazz Palminteri). On a mission on villa of a drug boss, while SCAR personnel kill all witnesses, Trace helps a call girl Candy (Tia Carrere) to escape. Now Trace and Candy are pursued by both cops and criminals.
The following weapons were used in the film Scarred City:
Revolvers
Rossi Model 971
During the shootout in adult book store one of the robbers (Al Thompson) is armed with a large frame, stainless steel revolver with full underlug. Its angular shape best matches Rossi Model 971.
Smith & Wesson Model 640 (?)
Drug boss Raphael Soto (Lou Cantres) holds a snub nose revolver when SCAR makes an attack on his villa. The general shape of what is seen bears resemblance with a Smith & Wesson Model 640 but it's impossible to make a strict guess.
Unidentified revolver
One of the robbers (Dexter Locke) in adult book store holds a compact revolver. The general shape of this gun allows to guess it to be an inexpensive small caliber "Saturday night special".
Pistols
Browning Hi-Power
John Trace's (Stephen Baldwin) personal handgun is a Browning Hi-Power. In the scene in Candy's house he gives his pistol to Candy (Tia Carrere) in exchange for her M1911A1.
M1911A1
Candy (Tia Carrere) draws an M1911A1 that belonged to her late father and gives it to John Trace (Stephen Baldwin) who uses this pisol until the final.
Smith & Wesson 5946
Sgt. Dan Creedy (Gary Dourdan) carries a Smith & Wesson 5946 pistol.
SIG-Sauer P226 (nickel)
Bobby (Steven Flynn) uses a nickel SIG-Sauer P226 as his sidearm.
Taurus PT92CS
Janice (Dana Eskelson) carries a Taurus PT92CS pistol. Same looking pistol is used by Lt. Laine Devon (Chazz Palminteri).
Smith & Wesson Sigma
What appears to be a Smith & Wesson Sigma SW9F is seen in hands of a robber (Jalil Jay Lynch) during the shootout in adult book store.
Walther PPK
In the abovementioned scene another robber (Andy Duppin) is armed with a nickel plated or stainless steel Walther PPK.
Beretta 92FS
During the attack on Raphael Soto's villa one of the guards (Chuck Zito) is armed with a Beretta 92FS pistol.
Glock 19 (?)
Speedy (James Villemaire) carries a holstered pistol that appears to be some Glock model. The size of the holsters allows to guess that it's a compact model, like Glock 19.
Benelli B76
Sam's hitman Terry Furrell (Frank Ferrara) carries a Benelli B76 Sport during the attempt to kill Candy.
Unidentified pistols
In the opening scene John Trace kills a drug dealer, thinking him to be armed. Then Bobby (Steven Flynn) puts a nondescript pocket pistol in hand of the dead man, thus falsifying the exhibit.
Raphael Soto's bodyguard Hector (Elliot Santiago) uses an unidentified pistol during the shootout on Soto's villa.
Terry Furrell's brother Ted (Bobby Unser Jr.) carries an unidentified pistol during the attempt to kill Candy. The shape of the barrel allows to guess that the pistol can be a member of Ruger .22 caliber family or maybe Browning Buckmark but it can also be some compact hammerless model, fitted with a long suppressor.
In the final scene a pair of Sam Bandusky's henchmen, Ted Crewe (Dylan Price) and an uncredited one, carry pistols.
Shotguns
Ithaca 37
Ithaca 37 shotguns are used by every SCAR member. These guns are seen in three versions: first, a standard Ithaca 37 Riot Version with wooden furniture; second, a Riot Version with Choate stock; and third, a version with rifle sights, extended magazine tube and Choate stock.
Sawn-off Double Barreled Shotgun
A Sawn-off Double Barreled Shotgun is used by one of the robbers (Michael Broughton) during the shootout in adult book store.
Assault Rifles
Bushmaster M17S
Bushmaster M17S assault rifles, fitted with red dot sights, are also widely used by SCAR personnel. In the final scene a Bushmaster M17S is used by Candy (Tia Carrere).
M16A1
One of Soto's bodyguards is armed with an M16A1 assault rifle.
AR-15 Carbine
Another bodyguard is armed with some version of AR-15 carbine.
AK
Several of Soto's bodyguards carry nondescript AK-style assault rifles.
