The Forest is a 2016 horror film directed by Jason Zada.
A young woman, Sara Price (Natalie Dormer), arrives in Japan in search of her twin sister Jess (also played by Dormer). Sara has been told that her sister was last seen entering Aokigahara, a forest at the base of Mount Fuji that has become infamous as the site of numerous suicides. Sara ventures into the forest to find her, only to encounter the restless spirits of those who died there.
