Murder in the First was a TNT television anthology series co-created by Steven Bochco that followed SFPD Inspectors and the District Attorney's office as they investigate and prosecute a specific murder case. The series, which followed one case through the span of an entire season, premiered in the US on TNT in 2014 and aired for three seasons until 2016.
