Razorback is a 1984 Australian filmed horror movie directed by Russell Mulcahy, about a rogue razorback hog terrorizing the Australian Outback. Jake Cullen (Bill Kerr), a hunter (whose grandson was killed by the boar) helps Carl Winters, an American, try to find the boar who killed his animal-activist wife while she was filming a story about kangaroo poaching. Arkie Whiteley, David Argue, and Chris Haywood co-star.
The following firearms are used in Razorback:
Short Magazine Lee-Enfield (SMLE)
Jake Cullen's (Bill Kerr) primary firearm is a Short Magazine Lee-Enfield (SMLE), a No. 1 Mk III*, "sporterised" (with fore-end cut down and a telescopic sight fitted to suit sporting use). This was a popular and inexpensive choice in Australia, where surplus SMLEs were sold off cheaply in the post WWII period. He is seen using it while hunting the boar. He fires five shots, and switches to a dart gun to try to stop the beast.
High Standard Flite King
Dicko Baker's (David Argue) primary firearm is a High Standard Flite King 12 gauge shotgun with rifle sights and extended tube. Dicko uses the shotgun as a hunting weapon or for fun. Dicko is so crazy, he even aims and shoots his brother with his shotgun. Dicko also uses the shotgun to drive away Jake (Bill Kerr) from his hideout.
Single Shot Shotgun (modified as a tranquilizer gun)
Sarah Cameron (Arkie Whiteley) asks Jake to take her Tranquilizer rifle with him, but it's actually a single barreled shotgun. In the scene where Jake switches to the Dart gun it can clearly seen that the Shotgun is replaced by a bolt action rifle.
Australian International Arms M10 B1
Carl Winters (Gregory Harrison) in the end of the film is armed with a M10 B1 Sport bolt action rifle with shorted barrel, sawed stock and with the fore-end cut down. The gun in the movie is colored dark brown and not light orange like the original version.
Winchester 1886
Sarah's (Arkie Whiteley) primary firearm is a Winchester 1886 rifle. It's seen briefly near the end of the movie.
