Handguns
Beretta 92FS
Jackson Davis Hammond "Jack" (Charlie Sheen) commandeers a pair of Beretta 92FS pistols from two Newport, CA police officers after taking Natalie Voss (Kristy Swanson) hostage. Newport Police Officers Dobbs (Henry Rollins) and Figus (Josh Mostel), as well as other police officers, also are armed with the 92FS.
M1911A1
San Diego Police officers at the Mexico border are mostly armed with M1911A1s.
Colt Python
A single San Diego Police officer is armed with a Colt Python at the roadblock.
SIG-Sauer P228
A single Newport Police Officer is armed with a SIG-Sauer P228 at the roadblock.
Beretta 92SB
A Beretta 92SB can briefly be seen when Jack is captured.
Shotguns
Winchester 1300
A Newport Police officer uses a Winchester 1300 shotgun to try to take out Jack Hammond (Charlie Sheen) during the chase. In reality, no police officer would ever attempt anything of the sort in such a situation.
Mossberg 500 Shotgun
San Diego Police officers and San Diego SWAT are armed with Mossberg 500 Pump-Action shotguns with black synthetic forearms and buttstocks. What is unusual is that they have the 28" Field barrels on them with a custom choke, which in reality a tactical police unit would not use.
