:Yep, this was a great show for its day. It's too bad that Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell wouldn't work together again other than a one-off episode of Star Trek: Enterprise. As this show demonstrated, Bakula was a man of many talents. And there are more than a few other episodes involving firearms, not just the one set in Vietnam. I think the one after features a teenage would-be murderer poking a pistol through the confessional booth privacy screen. --[[User:Mazryonh|Mazryonh]] 21:09, 4 March 2012 (CST)

Did anyone notice in intro of the Leap Home, Part 2, when the Navy SEALS were firing at a Vietcong ambush, they were using stock footage from Predator? The M16A1 with the faux M203 is a dead giveaway.

I have to admit, after watching the Season 3 Episode "The Leap Home Part 2" I was impressed with the accuracy of the weapons. Most shows (like Magnum PI) would have given everyone M-16s and .45s. This is the only show, or movie to accurately feature the Stoner 63 as a main weapon of the Vietnam era SEALS. --Charon68 19:38, 4 March 2012 (CST)

Bank robbery episode ...

There is an episode in which Sam leaps back to his home town during a bank robbery. He has a revolver and the brothers have a Winchester 94 and a SxS shotgun. I don't have pics handy, but thought I'd pass it along in case anyone wants to dig it up.--Surv1v4l1st (talk) 01:30, 5 February 2015 (EST)

Stock footage from Predator

Did anyone notice in intro of the Leap Home, Part 2, when the Navy SEALS were firing at a Vietcong ambush, they were using stock footage from Predator? The M16A1 with the faux M203 is a dead giveaway. http://youtu.be/aEj4NPGBEyM

The episode has a suppressed pistol of some kind. It may have been a 1911. I don't have a pic, but thought I'd pass it along.--Surv1v4l1st (talk) 02:34, 2 August 2015 (EDT)
