George Reeves was an American actor, best known for playing Clark Kent/Superman in the television series ''Adventures of Superman''. Unable to find work after the end of the Superman series, he was found dead in his home in 1959. Although officially ruled a suicide, the circumstances of his death are still subject to much speculation. He was played by [[Ben Affleck]] in the film ''[[Hollywoodland]]''.
