Her Combat Jacket does look like it's been customized to suit her fighting style, given she carries around that big rotor-blade machete, but there are three distinct versions of the Jacket. While Cage's Jacket has been customized to include the armatures on the back, it's otherwise identical to the others. There are other suits with back weapons, including the big heavy Jackets with the shoulder-mounted artillery. But whenever she heads out for battle, Rita is accompanied by a squad of guys in Jackets with a slightly different design, more heavily-armored than the normal ones but not as massive as the "Tank" ones. (I thought of them as EOD suits, initially.) Those might be the "Dog" variant. [[User:Atypicaloracle|Atypicaloracle]] ([[User talk:Atypicaloracle|talk]]) 16:40, 23 March 2015 (EDT) | |||

Suit Weapons
I feel that the primary, bullet based weapons used with the power armor suits resemble either chopped down SCARs, MP7s, or a little of both.--PyramidHead (talk) 16:17, 5 June 2014 (EDT)
I just saw the movie today, end credits shows a schematic animation for the New Jackets and their weapons. Yeah definitely Scar Ls with the stocks removed and it appears that a number of the other advanced weapons are based on the Metal Storm weapons.--DarkSamuraiX1999 (talk) 15:45, 8 June 2014 (PST)
- Although they refer to it as firing 5.56 I think they are actually SCAR-Hs (let's face it, not the first time Hollywood has made a caliber mistake). It is clearer in other shots in the film but in the first cap you can see it, as firstly the magazine doesn't protrude out far enough out from the trigger adapter/bridge over the magazine to be a 5.56 one, and secondly it is fitted with that odd diagonal buffer/magpul that squares up the bottom of the SCAR-H mags. Although the arm mounted triple grenade launcher does look a bit Metal Stormy, in some shots you can see that at least the centre barrel actually appears to be built from an EGLM, with the distinctive grip/pump being visible (you can just make it out in the first cap about the jacket weapons). Don't know whether this is meant to mean that they are actually just 3 single shot launchers, or whether they are meant to be Metal Storm type launchers but they just use an EGLM on the center barrel to provide a means of firing blank grenades for the effects. --commando552 (talk) 20:24, 10 June 2014 (EDT)
Ah right I shoulda saw that with the Scars lol I hate to fire that thing without a stock or pistol grip...then again I don't remember for the shots where the weapon is by itself outside of the Jackets if it had the pistol grip put back on. --DarkSamuraiX1999 (talk) 01:20, 13 June 2014 (PST)
Suit types
The article makes mention of 3 different suit type, being dog, grunt and tank. Was this actually mentioned in the film, as I think I missed it if it was. I assume that the main one is grunt and the chunky armoured one is tank, but what about dog? Is that the one Emily Blunt wears? I think there was also a bit more variety than just the 3 base types, as Tom Cruise is the only guy in a grunt suit with the back mounted weapons on the folding arms (or at least the vast majority didn't have them), and I think the guys who were originally with Emily Blunt's character might have had slightly different suits as well. --commando552 (talk) 20:27, 10 June 2014 (EDT)
