After doing a little bit of research on the guide rods of each of the options listed in this thread, I've come to the conclusion that it's the Kimber Warrior. None of the ends of the guide rods of the other guns (S&W 1911, Kimber Custom TLE II, and Colt XSE) match that of the gun Mark Whalberg holds in the picture above. That guide rod seems to be ended with a checkerboarded circle, as opposed to the others, ended by nothing, just a hole that exposes the guide rod (factory standards at least). It couldn't be the TRP as it has adjustable sights, and Mark's 1911 has fixed ones. Overall, my guess is the Kimber Warrior. --[[User:Mormonpowerranger521|Mormonpowerranger521]] 2:43, 10 June 2013 MST

==SIG P226 Image==
A user uploaded an image of an older SIG P226 Navy with the old-style trigger for this page, but it seems we already have an image on the site, the only real difference between the two being the threaded muzzle cap it seems. Now the gun in the film has the muzzle cap but even so, I'd just like to know if the other image is really necessary, and if so, could it be cleaned up some? Discussion

Right, I've created and added guns and screenshots from the trailer. Feel free to edit and add and i'll add when i can. --BrokenBullet (talk) 22:01, 30 March 2013 (EDT)

There is an MP5k (without the stock it seems) when what I assume is a raid by navy intel (stig reffers to them as his former friends now wanting to kill him)on the apartment with Denzel's character in it. Its right before we see the SR --Iceman (talk) 10:27, 31 March 2013 (EDT)

Yeah i noticed it's just there isn't a clear enough shot to grab. --BrokenBullet (talk) 16:51, 31 March 2013 (EDT)

Yeah its just a glimpse, one seemed to have an eotech mounted, there's also an MG in the same scene being fired, but you can only see an fps view (a carry handle is visible so probably an MG) also there's a what probably is a M240 in a pintle mount being fired from the helicopter by the end of the trailer, since its a US production and the story is not specific oriented, its safe to assume its an M240 --Iceman (talk) 09:49, 1 April 2013 (EDT)

Yeah i think one has a Mp5 with a rail system on it.not sure though. Okay not noticed the MGs before but if you can get a pic feel free to add it! There's also a shotgun (probably a Mossberg 500 pistol grip) in the trailer, you can see the barrel of it on the screencap of the AKM pic i uploaded but not a clear enough shot to take though. --BrokenBullet (talk) 10:38, 1 April 2013 (EDT)

Awesome pics, are you going to add them ? --BrokenBullet (talk) 17:07, 2 April 2013 (EDT)

The play button is annoying no way to get rid of it though (its from IMDB) I'll download apple trailer in 1080 and try to do it on my pc. + most of those are still not identifiable 100% anyway--Iceman (talk) 18:30, 2 April 2013 (EDT)

Someone should be able to identify the 1911 by these, last one makes me think SIG, but I'm no kind of expert.

The AK have no idea on them, being half Russian doesn't make me an expert on AK's

Seems like a mk18 on the left with a magpul stock and unknown variant with a VLTOR. The possible M240 on the choppers mount

Error creating thumbnail: File missing

Seems like a Beretta with pearl grips

It looks like the safety is on the frame, which would make it a Taurus PT92AFS. --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:09, 3 April 2013 (EDT)

Could be M240, probably the same gun in the second, although the helo is probably CGI so not 100% the detail is a bit wonky

What could be a Uzi on the far left and an MP7 (judging by what is possibly a curved magazine) in the hands of the guy in front-left

Unknown revolver at the end, also has flag grips

I think that's a Ruger Super Redhawk. You can see the Ruger-style cylinder release and the flat scope mount on top. --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:09, 3 April 2013 (EDT)

Think the 1911 is either a SIG GSR or more likely a S&W 1911 --BrokenBullet (talk) 12:51, 4 April 2013 (EDT)

SR-25

I think it's actually a SIG rifle such as the SIG SG 556 DMR, not an SR-25. --SmithandWesson36 (talk) 12:21, 31 March 2013 (EDT)

Probably something else the detail around the magwell seems wonky unless its some attachment, but hard to tell what it is if not an SR. --Iceman (talk) 12:59, 31 March 2013 (EDT)

Yeah i think you might be right. But this one has a full RIS system whereas the one on the SIG page doesn't. Good Spot dude --BrokenBullet (talk) 16:51, 31 March 2013 (EDT)

This pic shows the 556 DMR with the same rail as in the movie: 556 DMR --SmithandWesson36 (talk) 22:42, 31 March 2013 (EDT)

Yeah that's a good pic, think we should upload it and add it to the section ? --BrokenBullet (talk) 10:38, 1 April 2013 (EDT)

Yeah, but I would crop it so the "optional accessories shown" is not on the pic. I would do it myself, but I am an ipad and can't upload pics. --SmithandWesson36 (talk) 17:22, 1 April 2013 (EDT)

USP a HK45

I'm pretty certain that the USP in the trailer is a HK45. You can tell from the sights, the squared trigger guard and the frame. --cool-breeze (talk) 09:27, 1 April 2013 (EDT)

To me it looks like a compact due to Wahlberg not exactly being a giant, it looks a bit small in his hands. That and the gap between the end of the lower frame and trigger guard is quite short --Iceman (talk) 09:53, 1 April 2013 (EDT)

Well gentleman, i think you're right it could be a HK45 due to the angled edge of the frame under the slide. But it's hard to tell though. Also according to the specs on the Heckler & Koch HK45 page the full size is only 0.5 inches longer than the compact. Now just by eye it looks like the pistol is roughly the same size as the P226 (which is 7.7 inches long and so in my opinion its the full size HK45) but that's only a guess til we get a clearer shot of it... --BrokenBullet (talk) 10:38, 1 April 2013 (EDT)

If you look at the frame it looks like it's got a Picatinny rail, not to mention the angled edge that BrokenBullet mentioned. USPs are more right-angled with their frames and they have that H&K propitiatory rail system thing. --cool-breeze (talk) 19:06, 1 April 2013 (EDT)

Annnnnnnd it's changed to a HK45 --BrokenBullet (talk) 04:10, 2 April 2013 (EDT)

The 1911

So i'm guessing at a probable SW1911 but not sure so i gathered pics for anyone out there to figure...

The Screencaps as uploaded by Iceman ?

And here's my guesses of the possibility:

Error creating thumbnail: File missing - Doubtful

Error creating thumbnail: File missing - Maybe...

Error creating thumbnail: File missing - Maybe just a standard SF 1911

Error creating thumbnail: File missing - FunkyChinman's guess

Error creating thumbnail: File missing - My Guess

So any 1911 experts got the answer ??? Knowing me it's probably none of these xD --BrokenBullet (talk) 13:05, 4 April 2013 (EDT)

I think that there might be two different ones. The one in the screen of Marky Mark aiming looks like some sort of custom build. It's got a short rail and to me the slide serrations on the front and back look straight like the original M1911A1 serrations. Where the one on the ground looks to have a longer rail, the serrations are further apart and slanted. --cool-breeze (talk) 18:24, 4 April 2013 (EDT)

I honestly think it might be a Kimber Warrior. it seems to have the distinctive front end of the frame where it angles down.--One shot is all it takes. (talk) 19:58, 21 May 2013 (EDT)

Maybe it's a Kimber Custom TLE II with an underbarrel rail? --Mormonpowerranger521 1:36, 9 June 2013 MST

Is there a chance it's a Colt XSE? Puppet.of.fate (talk) 13:06, 9 June 2013 (EDT)

--Mormonpowerranger521 2:43, 10 June 2013 MST
