: Not development hell, but you're correct in that it hasn't been released yet due to delays. The film is slated for commercial distribution (not just Amazon or self-distribution), with February 17th being the first screening of the finished product. We were doing ADR as recently as the beginning of this week. The film is most certainly NOT on Youtube, only the teaser and some behind the scenes footage; any links claiming to have pirated copies of the film are obvious spam that have been up practically since principal photography finished and the first advertising went out. : Also, the film being unreleased is why the pictures are all crappy screenshots or production photos: the only material available for screencapping at the moment is the trailer (which was done before all but the most minimal post production, even color correction) or a short behind the scenes trailer, both on Youtube. The film has officially had its five-screen theatrical premier as of February 17th. I can confirm that there are currently very few notable firearms outside of the ones listed at the top of this page (other than whatever shots can be gotten of the military's weapons), with the most prominent being a scoped pump-action shotgun or rifle (maybe a Remington 7600) in Bo's truck, and the film's release will mostly act in providing new and higher quality screencaps of the weapons. Unfortunately, there seem to be very few clear shots of the gun pile at the airport. Chitoryu12 (talk) 11:31, 19 February 2013 (EST)

Remington
That is NOT a Remington Model 31 shotgun.  The mag tube end cap looks more like a High Standard Flite King than a Model 31.  But since you were there, can you confirm this?  MoviePropMaster2008 (talk) 00:31, 19 March 2013 (EDT)
: The Remington was my best guess, as I had minimal interaction regarding the shotgun (though I was a personal victim of the SKS and can very much confirm it). It took a lot of poring over the various pages on shotguns to even hazard a guess on what it may have been, and the Model 31 was just the closest that I could get from the pictures. If I get a chance, I may talk to Joe Stone (the production designer who provided most/all weapons) and get confirmation. ==RZW Airsoft==
Mindgame Productions, a mil-sim airsoft group that played the soldiers in the film, is putting together an RZW themed airsoft event in Ocala on May 25th. The player pack here (http://www.mindgame-productions.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/RZW-Players-Pack.pdf) includes some shots of weapons from behind the scenes pictures not included in the article. It also includes a photograph of the soldiers with the director at the theater where the film was first premiered and includes posters in the background, in case any proof is required that it saw theatrical release. Latest revision as of 00:23, 11 July 2014

Okay, I made this entire initial page by myself. I was an extra for the film and participated in roughly 1/4 of principal photography. As such, I can clarify some aspects of the article here.

 • Weapons that I can confirm are in the film but are not seen in the currently released official material include an airsoft M60, a Beretta 92FS blank-firing replica, a Simonov SKS, an airsoft M1911 in a soldier's holster, a Remington 870 in 12 gauge (carried by an elderly survivor at the airport), an airsoft Sturmgewehr 44 in the confiscated gun pile at the airport (which is so huge that a whole section can be dedicated to it) and a magnum revolver (possibly .44 Magnum). These guns will likely be easily visible when the film is released on DVD or online and screenshots can be made.
 • All of the guns used by the soldiers at the airport checkpoint, including their holstered sidearms, are airsoft replicas. A number of soldiers were played by mil-sim airsofters, while the actual veterans (including the bald man in the SCAR-L picture and the one with the Benelli on his back) came in their actual gear and simply switched their weapons for fakes. This also includes at least one soldier having training grenades on his kit.
 • The vast majority of gunshots in the film are CGI and sound effects due to the lack of permits for the noise caused by blanks. As such, many of the firearms are very real and are simply mimed firing.
 • The suggestion that the zombie cop's gun is a Glock comes from a behind the scenes photo (which I currently don't have handy) showing the handgun more clearly.

Should you have any questions, I'll do my best to help. Chitoryu12 (talk) 06:09, 25 January 2013 (EST)

Edited Photos

I've gone into Photoshop and changed the levels of some of the pictures to try and improve the visibility of the firearms.
