It is an Official Police. A New Service is best indentified by the sharkfin front sight(for me at least). Also the nickel Colt Police Positive Special appears to a ramped front sight and a smooth cylinder latch,indicative of of a post war gun. 21:36 EDT 4 October Tecolote | |||

Colt New Service
The revolver looks a bit small to be a Colt New Service. Maybe a Colt Official Police instead? --Funkychinaman (talk) 19:25, 4 October 2013 (EDT) It is an Official Police. A New Service is best indentified by the sharkfin front sight(for me at least).
