The CHP officer pulls a S&W 5903. You can tell that the frame is alloy by the way it reflects the light a bit different from the stainless slide. If this were a 4506, 4566, 4006 or 5906, the frame would be similar in color and reflection as the stainless slide. In addition, the bore is much too small to be a .45 ACP or 40S&W. The conclusion is that the CHP officer is holding a 5903.
