I don't think it is, I think it is just a model 733 that they face slapped a couple of bolts on the side. The C7/C8 detachable carry handle also looks slightly different from the A1 sights having extra strengthening at the front and back of the opening as well as the back edge being a different shape. Also from looking at the pictures it seems that the carry handle is integral to the rifle and there is mo join separating the carry handle from the upper receiver.  --commando552 07:59, 7 April 2012 (CDT)

So isn't it anachronistic because the game takes place in the 80s? Excalibur01 10:55, 7 April 2012 (CDT)
:If it is a model 733, I am fairly sure these were around in the 80s but don't know the exact year they were introduced so not 100%. The two knobs on the side implying the carry handle is removeable (although it doesn't look like it actually is to me) are anachronistic for the 80s though. The stock is anachronistic though apparently being based on the M4 type stock (albeit with a vertical rather than slanted butt) which wasn't introduced until the late 1990s or early 2000s.  --commando552 11:40, 7 April 2012 (CDT)
Yeah, upon closer examination, I'm gonna retract my initial post and go Model 733 with "add on" knobs making it look like a 933. Spartan198 01:26, 8 April 2012 (CDT)

Not an XM177, looks to be an M933 with a C8-style (A1 sights) detachable carry handle. Spartan198 19:08, 6 April 2012 (CDT)

Thank you. have changed.--Mateogala 04:51, 7 April 2012 (CDT)
