Shadow Harvest: Phantom Ops is a third-person shooter / stealth action video game developed by Black Lion Studios and released for the PC and Xbox 360 in 2011. The game is set in the year 2025, and tells the story of U.S. Army Captain Aron Alvarez and ISA (Intelligence Support Activity) agent Myra Lee as they try to assassinate a dangerous Somali dictator armed with high-end weapons to the teeth.
The following weapons appear in the video game Shadow Harvest: Phantom Ops:
Handgun
Glock 25
The compact .380 ACP Glock 25 is the default sidearm of Cpt. Aron Alvarez in the game. Holds 17 rounds, and has unlimited ammo. Appears incorrectly as "Glock 29" in the game, which is a subcompact pistol in 10mm AUTO. Furthermore, the nomenclature on the slide is on the wrong side, and reads "Glock 20", which is a full-sized pistol in 10mm AUTO. It is possible that at some point the gun was planned to be a G20, as the HUD icon of it is also a silhouette of a full-sized Glock.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5N
The MP5N appears in the game as a secondary weapon, known simply as "MP5". Gabriel Lawson uses an MP5N during Chapter 3 "Infernal Sands". ISA troops also carry MP5N's aboard the USS Stormbridger. The gun's magazine release paddle appears to be missing.
IMI Uzi
The Uzi is a secondary weapon in the game. It is extremely inaccurate and has an incorrect 30-round capacity.
Ingram MAC-10
OpFor guards are using MAC-10's. If Aron picks up an M10, it changes into an Uzi.
Assault Rifles
AK-47
The Type I AK-47 is heavily used by rebels and OpFor teams. Appears incorrectly as "AK-101" in the game, and fires 5.56mm rounds (as the real AK-101 does). Despite being the earliest Type I variant, the gun features a railed top cover. This however, appears only on the high-detail model (the gun is in the hands of Aron).
In-game, the gun is modeled with final version magazines.
Colt M4A1
Colt M4A1 rifles are used by UNFOR troops and Vlatkonov's guards. The gun is modeled with a 20-round magazine, but holds 30 bullets. The gun's sides are mixed up: the ejection port, brass deflector and forward assist are on the opposite side.
Heckler & Koch XM8
The old version XM8 is the preferred assault rifle of Cpt. Aron Alvarez in the game. The XM8 offers moderate damage and good accuracy. Ammo for it is very frequent, since the gun can accept M4A1 and AK-47 magazines too.
Shotgun
FN TPS
The FN TPS (Tactical Police Shotgun) appears in the game as the "TS-A12E". Holds 6 shells. Somali and Cuban forces use this gun fairly often. The gun incorrectly operates in semi-auto mode.
Sniper Rifles
"MK-13E"
The "MK-13E" is a bullpup sniper rifle, firing .300 Winchester Magnum rounds. Has a capacity of 6 rounds. This gun is used by OpFor snipers mostly at the Mogadishu Government District.
Accuracy International Arctic Warfare
The "MK-13E" sniper rifle's HUD icon is an Accuracy International Arctic Warfare rifle.
Machine Guns
2A42 Automatic Cannon
Kimosein's Mi-28 "Havoc" helicopters are armed with 2A42 Automatic Cannons.
Browning M2HB
The Browning M2HB with gun shield is seen mounted on OpFor APC's.
Dillon Aero M134 Minigun
Icon of the modded M60 machine gun is a Dillon Aero Minigun.
Modified M60
Modified M60 machine guns appear as stationary turrets, are also twin-mounted on UN Humvee's, and door-mounted on Black Hawks. The M60's are fitted with custom muzzle brakes and spade grips, mounted behind the buttstock.
NSV
The NSV is seen mounted on OpFor T-90 tanks.
Twin Automatic Cannon
These fictional auto-cannons are nose-mounted on UNFOR and OpFor Black Hawk helicopters.
Explosives
RPG-7
The RPG-7 is used as a special weapon in the game. One single missile can destroy a Russian T-90 tank.
Mk 2 Frag Grenade
The Mk 2 hand grenade is the resident frag grenade in the game. The HUD icon of it is closer to an M67.
C4 Explosive Charge
C4 charges are used by Cpt. Aron to blow up walls. Can only be planted at predefined locations.
