Point Break is about Bank robbers, the sky diving is incidental. Drop Zone is about a federal agent trying to infiltrate the extreme skydiving community to get to a group of criminals who are selling a NOC list, but who are using a sky diving competition as a ruse to get near a high priority target in Washington DC.
